Mr Michael Pereira – Executive Head Chef
Michael is of Portuguese descent but spent his early life in Bangladesh. He was brought up in the catering sector, since his father was a Chef working with the British forces and Embassies in India. He learnt that preparing and cooking food for others to enjoy is a job that “comes from the heart”. He has always concentrated on home-style cooking techniques and when he began working in the UK, he gained an immediate following from the British because he could successfully translate the Asian flavours for the western palate.
